A God who loves (1 John 4:7-21)

Anthony ClarkeAnthony Clarke, May 11, 2014
Part of the Grow series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

We look at a video Frozen to identify with this mornings sermon.

Anthony talks about at how God loves us. Acts of self sacrifice with a God who loves us and is committed to us and doesn't depend on how good we are or what we think. God loves the whole of the world, good and bad, not just us.

Anthony introduces us to 'Praying the Day' and the basis for the prayer is that God loves us and the world. We can meet God in all places, but Praying the Day helps us to recognise where we have met God each day. There are five stages of prayer including 'Thanking, Seeking, Reviewing, Accepting and Committing. Anthony will send us the slides to review. Can you look back and see where God has been speaking to you or who he has been speaking through today. Reflect and know that God loves you.
